POOR PYLE

I wonder if Vincent will ever let anyone bully him in real life like when he was Pyle. I don't think so, do you ?/I felt so sorry for him when they hit him in his bed

it made me cry.

Unlike Vincent's other films that I watch over and over, I could only handle FMJ once. The scene in the bed just tears my heart out.

It makes me cry too,Anushka. It's not a film I watch very often, but there is something very compelling about Vincent's performance that makes me watch.

I agree with you sweetheart; that scene was heartbreaking and I can only watch that film once, but I'll never forget it.

I don't imagine anyone can walk over Vincent... he is his own man. That's the beauty and attraction of him.

lotsa luv auntie ann xxxxx

I think it makes us all cry. It is a very good movie but difficult to watch. Have a great weekend. :)

I can't watch this - at all. Haven't seen it since 1987 (right year??) when I saw it at the cinema. I had NO idea who Vincent was, but I've never forgotten his character :-(

I'm just hoping that you stopped the film after Pyle killed himself. It only gets worse from there, and you're still rather young to be watching the sort of things that men do to each other in their ignorance and their hate ...

My father served in that war, and I find it very difficult to watch.

Unfortunately, I want her to see how cruel the world is, Grace.

I want her to know what poison is out there. So far, thankfully, it has made her a more compassionate person towards others, trying to make the world happier.
